Initial Sprint for the moon
The Moon had been part of every culture that has existed on the earth. Some worshiped it and some prepare a calendar based on its cycle. There are thousands of myths and folklores which we have heard. It has been part of human fascination over the year
As per the scientists, Moon is the astronomical body that orbits the Earth and they decided to explore it. When the space race began between the USA and Russia after the end of the Second World War, it opened all new doors for mankind.
History of a manned-mission
It was an exciting time for the researcher, the funding was adequate and the resources were plenty. Russia was the first to put a man in the space and the United States of America beat it to the moon. After the landing of the first lunar mission Apollo 11 on the lunar surface, they were successful in many other missions also. As of now, 12 astronauts have put their foot on the moon.
Due to budget constraints, the manned mission was abandoned but the lunar probes were sent by many countries in later years. They were used to collect data from the moon’s surface and enhance our knowledge about the celestial body.
The previous race was science-oriented and backed by giant egos attached to it. But it allowed us to go beyond the limits of imagination and achieve the unimaginable. It was one of the greatest accomplishments in the history of our planet.
Renewal of the race
USA and Russia had moved on from the moon for bigger and better projects. The race has again started to heat up between other nations, who are exploring outer space for adventure and the moon is their prime target.
Spectacular extravaganza
They also want to do the moonwalk and drive a rover around a creator and plant their country’s flag, while millions will be watching it live on earth. It’s going to be great amusement. That all It will be, an amusement.
These countries spend billions of dollars in space exploration. The people who work in space agencies are the most brilliant minds, they are working for the betterment of our species. But the unwillingness to cooperate and differences have hindered our progress. Think about what we can achieve if we get together, but this is a very far-fetched idea.

It was a momentous occasion when Neil Armstrong landed on the moon for all of us. The country-specific mission is not only doing injustice to global citizens but also using scarce resources for the same work over and over again, which had been done in the past already.
I hope all who are engaged in these lunar missions to get success because it’s a very hard job. The efforts of our brilliant scientists are commendable. Through scientific exploration, we can move forward towards a brighter future.
